Pastiche ties various crafts, histories, and techniques together to create a style with the intent of mythologizing oneself.

The self that cannot be reproduced for mass consumption or social media, but rather a product of one’s personal environment, cultures, and landscape.

Communal and skilled artistry is valued over mass production.

Half seal, half human; The Selkie is a shapeshifting creature from Celtic Mythology that represents the free-natured spirit of women that cannot be tamed.
